On the 11th of September, we closed our laptops and left our desks behind us, participating in the Social Day Aachen. 🤝

The Social Day Aachen is a social movement organised by .konnection and supported by pioneering partner . Thank you again for making this possible! 🙌

Viewing sustainability as part of our core values at Business School, we partnered up with Naturerlebnisgarten Hanbruch | BiNE e.V., an initiative hosting a communal garden aimed at teaching children about nature and the role humans play in it. During our day there, we did some preparation work, getting the garden ready for fall and winter. This included mowing the lawn with a scythe, cutting back bushes and herbs and freeing the place from weeds that had overrun the garden. 🍃

We are glad we had the opportunity to contribute to the project and look forward to the Social Day 2027! 🩵

Ever wondered how one of Germany's biggest internationally acting companys works? In June, our students had the opportunity to visit Henkel and take a look behind the brand that has been driving forward innovation for 150 years. 💡

Starting off with an introduction to the company and how its organized, our students learned about different HR and application processes before taking a tour through the Inspiration Center in Düsseldorf. There, Henkel gave our students insights on current projects and their production site. Our visit ended with an presentation about Innovation and an open discussion where our students could ask all questions.

It was a varied and exciting day with many interesting insights into Henkel!

Let’s look back at Career Day 2026!🚀

Designed exclusively for our Business School students, the annual career day gave them the opportunity to get in touch with different companies and open doors for themselves in the future.

To round out the networking experience, the students could attend the keynotes that were provided by the exhibiting companies. There, they gained even insight into different work processes. 💡

When they were not listening to keynotes or talking to the exhibitors, the students were able to take professional headshots. Also, our career service provided CV checks, further enhancing the students’ chances on the job market.

Overall, it was a great day with a lot of interesting talks and time to connect. Thank you to everyone who participated and to everyone who helped organize this event!💙

Today is World Environment Day, and although sustainability should be on our minds every day, today is a great opportunity to emphasize its importance. 🌱

From water scarcity to biodiversity loss, the challenges we face are as complex as they are urgent. And while individual actions matter, they are only part of the picture.

Sustainability isn't just a personal responsibility; it's a systemic challenge. Meeting this challenge requires real change, not just individual choices, but also people who deeply understand sustainability and can promote it within companies, strategies, and impact measurements.

Last week, our Master of Science in Data Analytics and Decision Science program underwent reaccreditation, and we couldn't have done it without our students, who took the time to share their honest experiences with the auditors.

Accreditations like this one are an important part of ensuring that our programs remain relevant, rigorous, and worthwhile.
