Puppets in Prague

Come to Prague to learn the art of creating puppets under the guidance of Czech master puppeteer Mirek Trejtnar.
We offer workshops in English on carving wooden marionettes, designing puppets for stop motion animation, manipulation and performance. For 20 years, over 800 students from around the world have made puppets in our workshops. Fabulous to get together with friends and puppets in New York! Got to see Teddy Yudain performing in Little Shop (and thrilled to see that the plant was designed by another Puppets in Prague alum Nicholas Mahon). Teddy has done many online workshops with us but who I finally got the chance to meet in person, dear friend Anatar M. Gagné who I last saw at Puppets in Prague 2022 workshop and Richard Toth with marionette by Jiraskova from the iconic King Stag production in Prague in the 90s
