✨ We are grateful and happy to share that an article about our Erasmus+ project Mamas Who Run with the Wolves has been published in the Slovak magazine Dieťa. ✨

Under the title Keď nás materstvo pohltí: Cesta späť k sebe (When Motherhood Consumes Us: The Way Back to Ourselves), I reflect on our beautiful journey of bringing mothers together, creating spaces for connection, self-discovery, creativity, and mutual support.

This project grew from a simple but powerful belief: mothers need support. Especially in the early years of motherhood, when giving so much to others can sometimes mean losing touch with ourselves.

We are incredibly thankful to the Dieťa magazine team for giving space to this topic and helping us spread the message further. 💛

If you are in Slovakia, you can still purchase the magazine or access the article online and read more about the project and the ideas behind it. https://www.dieta.sk/aktualne-dieta-c-5-6-7-2026/

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. 🌿

✨ Balancing Love and Space ✨

One of the gentle resources we created during our Erasmus+ project *Mamas Who Run with the Wolves* is this small guide for mothers:
🌿 *Balancing Love and Space* 🌿

Sometimes we deeply need:
✨ rest
✨ self-care time
✨ a regular practice just for ourselves
✨ time to heal
✨ or simply a little space to breathe

And sometimes life brings situations when we need to spend time away from our child — perhaps for a retreat, work, health reasons, a hospital stay, or simply to reconnect with ourselves.

But this can also bring difficult emotions:
guilt, worry, fear, sadness, uncertainty.

This gentle guide offers:
🌿 practical tips
🌿 simple bonding rituals
🌿 support for preparing transitions
🌿 insight into attachment, child development, and neuroscience
🌿 ideas for nurturing safety and connection even during separation

Because we believe that love and connection do not disappear when we create healthy space. 💛

Please feel free to download it, use it, and share it with someone who may need this support. 🌿

And if you feel this kind of support is important for mothers, leave a 💛 in the comments.

✨ Care Begins With Me ✨

One of the most meaningful resources we created during our Erasmus+ project Mamas Who Run with the Wolves is this gentle and creative self-care process:
🌿 Care Begins With Me – Self-Care Vision Board 🌿

This downloadable resource invites you to slow down for a little while and reconnect with yourself through creativity, reflection, visualization, and gentle self-care.

Because we truly believe:
before we can deeply care for others — our children, our families, our communities — we also need to care for ourselves. 💛

The resource includes:
✨ a guided creative process
✨ reflection prompts
✨ a short meditation
✨ inspiration for creating your own self-care poster or vision board

Available freely in:
🇬🇧 English
🇭🇺 Hungarian
🇸🇰 Slovak
🇨🇿 Czech

Special thanks to:
🌿 Denisa Mari - Jóga for the Czech meditation voice
🌿 Mata Martti Martina for the Slovak meditation voice
🌿 Timi Majoros for the Hungarian and English voices

Light a candle.
Make yourself a tea.
Prepare your creative materials.
Give yourself a little slow time. ✨

And perhaps this can become the first small step toward the reality you wish to nourish in your life.

We would love to hear how this process feels for you if you decide to try it. ♡

Just a year ago, around this time, we shared a truly magical Beltane celebration with 21 incredible women from Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. 🔥🌿💃

It’s truly amazing how vividly it still lives in me… how we gathered in the forest in the middle of the night and celebrated ourselves—women, our wildness, our beauty, our power, and our gentleness. ✨All of this came together so naturally and powerfully within the Mamas Who Run With The Wolves project. 💛🐺

Take a moment to read this beautiful summary from Radi, one of our participants, who captured her experience in a beautiful blog post🌙

Have you ever felt like you’ve just had enough? That this was the last drop, and you just want to pack your things and go somewhere you can finally breathe?Somewhere you will be heard, where what you want actually matters, and where you don’t have to subordinate every part of yourself to your fam...

🌱 Spring is truly here… and with it, new life begins.
Last week, we planted green peas together—little hands in the soil, parents and children side by side. 💚
Today, on Earth Day 🌍, we’re reminded that this is what we celebrate every week: the quiet, generous gifts of Mother Earth. Sunshine, rain, growing food, and the simple joy of being outside together.
So grateful to witness these moments. 🌿✨

Yes, we are proud of Hungary and I'm feeling proud again to be Hungarian ❤️🙏✨🥰 a beautiful cooperation of our nation! We can stand up for liberty, for children, for families, for the weak ones, for the poor, for justice and of course for democracy!!🇭🇺🙏
New hope for Hungary, Europe and the world! 🌍 ❤️

🇭🇺✨ A moment of hope

In the past days, Hungary has witnessed something deeply moving: the active presence of young people in public life. Seeing so many of them engaged, standing up, expressing their voices, and taking part in shaping their future has been truly inspiring for all of us at Origó Műhely.

As a youth-focused organisation, we believe that participation is the foundation of a healthy and democratic society. When young people feel that their voice matters, when they step into responsibility, and when they engage with courage and openness — something meaningful begins to shift.

The past years have not always been easy for civil organisations in Hungary. Navigating challenges while staying committed to our mission of supporting young people, youth workers, mental health, and active citizenship required resilience, creativity, and strong partnerships — especially within the Erasmus+ community.

Today, we hold a sense of cautious optimism.
We hope for a future where civil organisations are recognised as partners, as co-creators, and as contributors to the common good — not as obstacles, but as valuable actors in shaping society.

We also hope to continue — and even strengthen — our participation in European cooperation.

✨ A Space to Remember Myself ✨

https://www.theamitynetwork.com/post/a-space-to-remember-myself-how-to-run-with-wolves

There are moments from this past year that stay quietly alive in us…
soft, but deeply transforming.

One of the mothers who joined our Mamas Who Run with the Wolves journey shared these words:

“Through the training sessions, I learned not to forget about myself. I realized how easily I had focused only on caring for my family and others, while forgetting to appreciate and care for my own body and soul. The experience helped me understand the value of self-appreciation and to prioritize my own well-being alongside caring for others.”

This is something we witnessed again and again…
That gentle shift — when a mother begins to include herself in the circle of care. 💛

Not instead of her family.
But alongside them.

Because when a mother is nourished,
something in the whole family begins to soften and grow.

We feel deeply grateful to have walked this path together with so many incredible women from the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia.

In the coming days, we will be sharing more stories, reflections, and free resources from this journey.
You are warmly welcome to follow along. 🌿

If these words resonate with you, we would love to hear how they land in your heart.

We are happy and proud to share that we have completed and closed our one-year 🇪🇺 Erasmus+ project Mamas Who Run with the Wolves 💛🙏🐺💃

Over the past year, this journey has inspired and empowered more than 30 women and their families from the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia. It has been a space of connection, growth, and returning to ourselves.

In the coming days and weeks, we will be sharing the results of this beautiful project with you. You will find a collection of free downloadable resources to support your self-care, your parenting, and your family life — as well as inspiration for creating women’s circles and nurturing local communities.

We created these with a lot of care, and we truly hope they will feel nourishing and supportive in your everyday life. 🌿🥰💫
