Dear Forrozeiros,
On behalf of the Prague Forró Festival 2020 - F**a no Coração, we have a heart breaking news to announce. Unfortunately, the 4th edition of the festival is cancelled.
These days we have spent countless hours monitoring the COVID-19 situation. At this moment, it is obvious that quick recent development of events and protective measures in the Czech Republic and a big part of Europe, oblige us to act.
As organisers, we feel a very strong responsibility for an event itself but even more for the health and security of all of you. It is difficult to imagine how hard it is to take a decision of this kind, affecting all of you.
Of course, we are well aware of the fact that a majority of you have booked transport tickets and accommodation here in Prague and refunds are not certain in many cases.
In the past months, we were preparing the festival in a way that you could have the best possible experience. Of course it includes many funds that our association invested, a majority of them is not refundable and we will suffer significant financial losses.
If you wish your pass to be refunded, please send us an email to [email protected] by March 26th the latest.
If some of you are willing and able to support our association by relinquishing part or all of the amount you paid for your pass, we would be endlessly grateful and it would help us to deal with the financial consequences of this unexpected turn of events.
Our Terms and conditions are not counting with the “force majeur” of this kind, therefore we leave the final refund request decision up to you.
