Speak Like Me is looking for a positive and reliable native English teacher (ideally with at least 6 months of teaching experience, but a great attitude and willingness to learn matter just as much).

We’re a top-rated corporate language school in Prague, teaching clients like Pfizer, CETIN and iWant. We create all our teaching materials in-house, tailored for Czech speakers - no generic textbooks, random exercises, or even lesson planning!

Speak Like Me is looking for a native English teacher to join our awesome team (8-15 classes per week to start). We are a corporate language school with clients including Pfizer, Cetin and iWant and are very proud to be the best-rated corporate language school in Prague (https://shorturl.at/dmOR7). We make all our teaching materials in-house, which are tailor-made for Czech speakers and made with the teacher in mind – so that no teacher ever need plan a lesson (for real!).

In SLM, we are aiming to deal with all the issues teachers typically deal with: low rates, poor job security, no career progression, bad schedules with lots of travelling, and not feeling part of a team. Rates range from 400-450/60min lesson. We have a clear career progression plan where teachers can advance to senior teacher after one year, providing senior teacher requirements are met. A year after that teachers can apply to become a teacher trainer with additional rate increases.

We have increased our hourly rate twice over the last two years to match inflation. Rates now range from 400-450/60min lesson leading to average take-home pay of 45-50k on a 6-hour/day schedule. We have a clear career progression plan where teachers can advance to senior teacher after one year, providing senior teacher requirements are met. A year after that teachers can apply to become a teacher trainer with additional salary increases.

We can provide up to a 6-hour day or more straight away for teachers who want an immediate and steady income, or less hours for people who would prefer to work less. Classes continue year-round (including summer) as all contracts with clients include summer classes. We have two weeks of paid, onboarding training (around 2 hours per day) plus ongoing training.
