Science in the age of 3 - 6?
It’s not about facts, but about exploration and wonderment. 👀

Together with Jennifer Varbanov, our adult learners from the Early Childhood Program combined Botany and Zoology with Physics and Geography.

They explored magnets, compasses, and the forces of nature 🧲, created handmade maps and exploring landforms 🗺️, and discovered the life cycle of a frog. 🐸 Finally, they learnt a lot about Irish culture. ☘️

As educators, our goal is to keep a child’s curiosity alive and provide the structure and tools for endless discovery. 🔎🙏🏼

During the spring onsite part of our AMS Diploma Training in Prague, led by Judy Luman (our Program Director), our adult learners took this concept to the streets of Prague! 🏰 Their task was clear: plan, execute, and present a meaningful Field Trip that connects directly to the Montessori curriculum. 🌳

They didn’t just enjoy the beauty of Prague; they practiced the "how" and "why" of organizing purposeful outings that empower older children to lead their own learning journeys.
