ELF14: A Global Gathering on English as a Lingua Franca The ELF14 conference brought together academics and teachers with an interest in Global Englishes and the study of English as a Lingua Franca. The the four-day conference was hosted by the School of Education, in collaboration with Charles University's Faculty of Arts.
