We passed the test too! ✅

The Czech Language Certificate Exam for Foreigners (CCE)® has successfully passed another independent ALTE audit. Its Q-Mark has been confirmed for all five levels, from A1 to C1, and is valid until July 2031.

What does that mean in practice? The exam’s development, administration, security, marking and handling of results have been independently checked against international standards. The audit also covered the new format of the speaking test introduced in 2026.

Depending on the level, a CCE certificate can be used to prove Czech proficiency for university study, employment, permanent residence or Czech citizenship.

🇨🇿 Are you already learning Czech and want to use it more confidently at work and in everyday life?

On 4 September, ÚJOP Charles University is opening in-person Czech language requalification courses for continuing learners. The courses are suitable for those who already know Czech at least at A1 level.

If the required conditions are met, the course fee may be covered through Úřad práce ČR. Funding is approved individually. You can also pay for the course yourself.

Applications must be submitted by 2 September.
