Some projects become part of a school’s story. The Bench of Hope is one of them.

Created in memory of Jane Goodall, the bench was planned, fundraised for and assembled with the active involvement of our Upper Elementary students.
It is accompanied by the Jane Goodall Library, also built from recycled and repurposed materials and filled with books by and about Jane. Together, they create a space for reading, reflection and inspiration.

The Bench of Hope was unveiled at IMSP’s Earth Day Celebration, when students officially introduced the bench to the community, sharing something that will remain at IMSP for years to come.

For a young child, having a parent sit close, turn the pages, and enjoy the story with them means everything.

Our students took us on a journey Over the Rainbow and Beyond with a wonderful end-of-year performance filled with creativity, confidence, music, and joy.

From the youngest performers to our older students, each child brought their own sparkle and spirit to the stage. We are so proud of the courage, teamwork, and growth they have shown throughout the year!
