PALACKÝ UNIVERSITY, OLOMOUC - FACULTY OF MEDICINE AND DENTISTRY

The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry has been running a study program in General Medicine in the English language for the last 20 years, recently adding Dentistry as another program taught in English. During these years, PU graduates have successfully established themselves as well respected and sought after members of healthcare teams in numerous countries, from the USA and Canada, the UK, and Norway all the way to Malaysia and Japan. Results from USMLE tests show that PU graduates have no trouble competing with the best students from the whole world, securing jobs even at the most prestigious clinics and universities, including the Mayo clinic and Harvard University.
Tuition fee is 10.900 USD/year for study in English, study in the Czech language is free of charge.
Living expenses are (accommodation, board, textbooks and compulsory health insurance) approximately 5.000 USD/year.

FACULTY OF MEDICINE IN HRADEC KRALOVE, CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE
Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kralove started its educational activities on November 25, 1945 as the first university faculty outside Prague (East Bohemia).
Medical degree study program in General Medicine (6 years) and is arranged along the lines of theoretical, pre-clinical and clinical studies. The clinical instruction takes place in the University Hospital – a complex of 37 clinics and departments with 1500 beds and a staff of 4800 employees.
Curricula of Czech and English study programs are entirely parallel and fully comparable with the current international standard. They are accredited by the EU and in the USA and recognized in all over 30 countries from which the international students come.
Apart the opportunity to spend one to two semesters at some European universities, the Faculty has an excellent relationship with the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, USA, which provides an annual placement for students.
Tuition fee is $12.400/year for study in English, study in the Czech language is free of charge.
Living expenses approximately $5.000.
