Over two outdoor climbing days at Alcazar Quarry in Srbsko, 20 students travelled by train to develop their climbing skills in beautiful weather. From beginners learning essential safety and belaying techniques to more experienced climbers progressing from top-rope to lead climbing, everyone challenged themselves on a variety of routes and made excellent progress. After enjoying a hot dog lunch together, the students returned to school having built confidence, teamwork, and new outdoor skills. It was a fantastic experience, and all participants should be proud of their achievements.

🏅 Congratulations to our Junior High UKMT Challenge Award Winners! 🏅

On 29 April 2026, our Junior High students took part in the UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge, a competition designed to inspire deeper mathematical thinking through engaging problems and puzzles rather than testing curriculum knowledge alone.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate a record-breaking year of success for Riverside students, who achieved an outstanding:

🥇 8 Gold Awards

These fantastic results reflect our students’ curiosity, perseverance and enthusiasm for tackling complex mathematical challenges. Well done to all participants for representing Riverside so brilliantly!
