AIFS Study Abroad in Prague

From 18th century colonnades to 1970s Brutalist architecture, sipping natural spring waters, watching master craftsmen create glassworks at Moser, and observing wildlife. These were just some of the things we did at the 2-Day Optional Trip to Karlovy Vary!

AIFS green volunteering contribution to the Earth Day🌱 Working at the Metro Farm, community garden and animal farm, our long term partner. This time we helped to clear out the heap of concrete to be able to extend the flowerbeds. Pet goats were a special treat. We will be back soon. Follow our next posts:-).

Up to the TOP....this time up to the top of one hill in Bohemian Karst above the pilgrame site of baroque church of St.John the Baptist with the cave of St.Ivan where we tried the water from the spring....lovely day in a peaceful land.

Up to the sky...not really but we conquered the most important hill of the Bohemian Central Highlands the Říp hill which is according to the legend the original settlement of the Czechs.

What a great choice by Fall Semester students to replace a Farewell Dinner with the Czech Christmas Cookies Baking. Thank you all for joining the final event and for being a great group to interact throughout the whole semester. We will miss you!
