Zatlanka's Debating Club We gladly present you the official page of Zatlanka's Debating Club. We welcome all comments and feedbacks!

The purpose of this debating club is to encourage students to improve their debating skills, creativity, critical thinking; teach the students the ability to make a research on a certain topic; to brainstorm, write, speak and think in formal English as well as provide unique practical experiences which the traditional education lacks. We also connect active people of our school and we have an ambi

tion to reach even further. Among our projects is the Zatlanka European Youth Parliament and organising of the Erasmian European Youth Parliament in Prague. If you are interested by our mission and you wish to help us or you have any idea on an activity, improvement or anything else, do not hesitate to contact us!

"Chcete získat zajímavou pracovní nebo dobrovolnickou zkušenost po celé Evropě? Dnes byl zahájen evropský sbor solidarity.
Je to jedinečná příležitost pro mladé lidi (17-30 let) podílet se na projektech v sociálních oblastech – od vzdělávání a zdraví přes pomoc s poskytováním potravin, integrací či stavění přístřeší až po ochranu životního prostředí a prevenci přírodních katastrof.
Evropská komise uhradí cestu, ubytování, pojištění, stravování a kapesné, doba trvání od 2 do 12 měsíců.

For those of you who are active in many areas and projects or perhaps have an idea for a project or an activity take a look at a new project/competition by People in Need (Člověk v tísni) for youngsters aged 17-25 - "Hledá se leaDr"! The workshops and prices for chosen seem very promising! :)
