English-Czech Kindergarten in Prague Villa Luna Prague is part of an international network of language kindergartens and nursery school.

Summer holidays have begun, and for a little while, Villa Luna is a little quieter. ☀️

The laughter, busy footsteps and joyful chatter have made way for our annual “Sanitation Week”.

Behind the scenes, our team is giving every classroom the care it deserves. We’re deep cleaning, disinfecting, organising, washing, polishing and preparing every little corner, ready for another wonderful year together.

A huge thank you to our amazing team for all the care, time and hard work they put into making Villa Luna a safe, welcoming and beautiful place for our children.

As the holidays begin, we have been enjoying the warm weather, sunny days and all the little summer moments together. We also made it through a very hot spell, finding little ways to keep cool and enjoy the days.

There has been laughter in the garden, time spent together outdoors and plenty of lovely summer vibes before the holidays begin.

We wish all our Villa Luna children and families a wonderful summer filled with rest, adventures and happy memories. 💛

We are looking forward to welcoming the children to our summer programme and enjoying more sunny days together at kindergarten.

Our Summer Festival is almost here!

Join us on Saturday, 13 June, from 3.00 to 6.00 pm for a joyful afternoon celebrating another wonderful year at Villa Luna.

Our latest trip took us on a very special insect hunt. After a short bus journey, we began our walk in a little grove on the edge of Prokopské údolí, before heading out into the sunny meadow.

The children searched for butterflies, ants, bees, spiders and ladybirds. Some were admired just where we found them, while others joined us briefly in an observation box so we could take a closer look before gently returning them to nature. 👀🌿

Learning through real experiences helps children develop curiosity, patience and respect for the world around them. And with the sun shining all the way, it was a beautiful day for exploring together. ☀️🦋🐜🐝🕷️🐞
