Research Tuesdays are coming back this fall! 🍂

Last semester, we welcomed inspiring guests from the Czech Republic and abroad to discuss architecture, cities, climate, and society.

Curated by Helena Čapková, Research Tuesday returns this September with a new format, a long-term programme, and an even greater focus on discussion, networking, and meeting in person.

Field of Spark ⚡

ARCHIP, in collaboration with CCEA MOBA , has been invited to participate in the 6th Artweek: Extinction of Experience. In the ancient, fossilized landscape of Ipolytarnóc, a Central European collective (Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary) is creating a permanent landmark as a new addition to the Field of Sparks Artpark.

Each team is designing a 3 × 3 × 3 m module of The Bivouac — a modular cross-frame steel installation that serves as a solar clock and a site of radical presence — transforming it into a "bedroom" for intimate rest and observation.

The installation is built using reused metal, reclaimed wood, and sunlight as its primary medium.

At ARCHIP, you'll study in small design studios led by practicing architects. Each semester focuses on a different real-world topic, with all courses connected to your studio project.

Over two years, you'll work on architecture, urban planning, heritage contexts, and finish with your own individual thesis project.

📅 The final application deadline is July 31.

ARCHIP at Rohan Design District 🎉

This year, ARCHIP will be part of the Rohan Design District festival, taking place on the Rohanské Embankment in Prague.

As a school closely connected to contemporary architectural practice, we're excited to join a programme focused on design, architecture, and the future of our cities.

Beginning next Wednesday, our students will exhibit their architectural proposals for the historic Stájový dvůr at Prague Castle.
