Hi everyone,
For a long time we heard feedback on how the evaluation form in vyuka could use some improvement.
Throughout this academic year we have been working to reformulate it in a way that is easier too use, more device friendly and less time consuming. However, we do need your opinion on our proposition in order to have it approved ( and improved with your suggestions). KONCEPT EVALUACE

Semestrální evaluace má na konci tlačítko “uložit koncept”. Tahle funkce vám umožňuje psát si průběžně poznámky.

Až se k evaluaci vrátíte na závěr semestru, budete mít své poznámky uložené a můžete je upravit dle libosti a odeslat. A co když je zapomenu odeslat? Nevadí, vaše rozepsané koncepty evaluací se k nám dostanou. Po skončení semestru, když se uzavírají evaluace, se automaticky odešlou i vaše koncepty.

Takže až budete příště s kolegy na pivku v Malém Edenu pomlouvat výuku, otevřete si okno semestrální evaluace v aplikaci Výuka, zapisujte si své podněty a ukládejte je jako koncept. 😉

A když vás v tom zápalu drbání napadnout i nějaká hřejivá slova, neváhejte je tam taky odložit. Pochválíme-li druhého, potěší ho to. A o to snáze vyučující zapracuje na změnách.❤️

EVALUATION CONCEPT

The semester evaluation template has an "save draft" button at the bottom. This feature allows you to save your ongoing feedback during the semester.

At the end of the semester, when you revisit the template to finalize your evaluation comments, you will have your notes saved so it will be easy to edit and quickly submit it.
What if you forget to send the evaluation at the end of the semester? No problem, your drafts will be automatically submitted.

The next time you rant about teaching in Malý Eden, open the semester evaluation window in Výuka, write down your suggestions, and save them as a draft. 😉

And if among the heated complaints you come up with some warm encouraging words, don't hesitate to include them too. Praise those who deserve to be praised, this will motivate them to make further improvements.❤️

Na to, aby systém evaluace umožnil změny (personální, v rozvrhu, organizaci, ve fakultním zázemí), musí být data. Fakulta potřebuje vědět, kde co přesně má zlepšit, a to od dostatečného množství studentů.

Představte si, že by fakulta dělala změny na základě toho, že si jeden Pepíček stěžoval. No to by byla divočina, a tak je proto ustanovena hranice relevantnosti evaluací. A ta je 10 %. Znamená to, že alespoň 10 % studentů zapsaných na předmět musí odeslat evaluaci, aby mohlo být s evaluacemi zacházeno.

Představte si, že je ve druháku 180 studentů, všichni chodí na předmět Struktura a funkce lidského těla neboli lidově Áčko. Aby mohla komise pro evaluaci s evaluacemi k Áčku zacházet, potřebuje aby alespoň 18 studentů zaslalo semestrální evaluaci.
A tak tvá evaluace může být tím desátým procentem ke změně. Buď desítkou. Společně za změnu.

In order for the evaluation system to generate changes (in staff, timetable, organization, faculty, etc…), there must be data. The faculty needs to know exactly where to improve, and for this it needs feedback from a sufficient number of students.

Imagine if the faculty would make changes (for all) based on the complaints of a single person. Well, that wouldn’t be very wise, so the boundaries for the relevance of evaluations were set; and they are at 10%. This means that at least 10% of students enrolled in a course must submit an evaluation for all evaluations on said course to be processed.

Hypothetically, if there were 180 students in sophomore year, all of them attending the subject Structure and Function of the Human Body, or Module A; for the evaluation committee to consider the evaluations for this module, at least 18 students need to have sent an evaluation.
As such, your evaluation can be the one left needed to reach the tenth percent in order to make a change. Be that tenth percent.

Evaluaci výukové jednotky po odeslání obdrží zvolený vyučující. Hlavním smyslem těchto evaluací je zpětná vazba pro vyučující, kteří se tak mohou dozvědět, v čem je jejich hodina přínosná a jakým způsobem případně mohou danou hodinu zlepšit. Vyučující mají navíc možnost na evaluaci reagovat. Jejich reakci lze dohledat v databázi evaluací. A to je jako kde? Tady! https://inis17.lf3.cuni.cz/evaluace/

The evaluation of the teaching unit is sent to its respective teacher. The main purpose of these evaluations is providing teachers with feedback, in order to make them aware of how beneficial their lesson was or how they can possibly improve it.

Proces evaluace je tvořen několika vzájemně provázanými kroky. Celé to začíná u vás. Tím prvním krokem, u kterého všechno začíná, je vaše evaluace. Do aplikace Výuka můžete napsat evaluaci výukové jednotky nebo semestrální evaluaci k celému předmětu. Chystáme pro vás i nové okno, které vám umožní dát zpětnou vazbu na všechno ostatní, co se vám do evaluace výukové jednotky nebo semestrální nevešlo, říkáme tomu pracovně “celková evaluace” a až bude, tak vám o tom dáme vědět.

The evaluation process consists of a sequence of interconnected steps. It all starts with you; meaning the first step is your evaluation.
In Vyúka, you can evaluate both the teaching unit and the semester of a given subject. We are preparing the addition of a new modality of evaluation, it will allow you to give feedback on everything that does not quite fit into the evaluation of the teaching unit or of the semester. We call it "overall evaluation", we will let you know when it’s ready!
