My morning time on the mat today & playful mood resulted into a modified side crow pose. I always feel good after yoga practice🙏 even a short one. That is a thing I can count on. To come onto a mat is a question of discipline, but the great feeling after within my body, mind and spirit is always there. Resist your resistance. Come onto the mat. EnJOY.

Yoga is a self-discovery journey. It's a tool for life for me. Finding the way, where there is none. Hope. An anchor. In new circumstances, where unexpected happens and I do step out of my comfort zone, I learn. Always. The more often it happens, the more stable I stand. I feel grateful for such moments. ⚓

My very favourite asana is parivrtta trikonasana (revolved or twisted triangle pose). Such a simple elegant shape, but requiring so much to achieve the steady alignment, providing for deep body stretch, that I feel in return. I like simplicity. I like how it hurts sometimes. I like to find my breath and stability in it. Feet and a hand are grounded at the same time and provide me with a feeling of security. It's a nice forward bend and a balance posture at the same time due to the torso twist, where the strong core is required, too. Heart opener through the arms extension in one line, hand grounded but gazing up towards the sky.... trust the anchor created within this asana. I am focussed from the bottom to the top of my fingers, from my back heel to the top of the head working towards the body and mind calmness.

You can either assess how ordinary it looks at the first sight, or take a moment to see many layers and facettes in every aspect of life around. The choice is yours.

West Highland Way. Scotland.
A beautiful journey within as a part of my yoga path. 96 miles in one week of walking to get to know myself out of my comfort zone.

I was at times struggling, surrendering, accepting, letting go. I felt both tired and happy, enjoying moments & appreciating little things that I take for granted in my everyday life. I also felt supported where things were out of my control. I just carried on, step by step. Sometimes thanks to my willpower, often thanks to a support I received. I learnt how much I can rely on my body.

I feel most grateful and blessed for having had this opportunity to walk the WHW, having seen incredible landscapes and having met wonderful people. Strangers who eventually became friends; thanks for sharing that extraordinary adventure, your stories, having opened hearts and walking together for a precious while.

West Highland Way, you changed me. My heart and my mind feel at peace with who I am.

Difference is uniqueness. Uniqueness is authenticity. Authenticity is power & self-confidence. Self-confidence is freedom.

So scary but so empowering when you're finally at a place, where you have since ever been longing to be.

Feeling strong but humble, determined and believing. I am learning to connect the opposites that are in fact complementary. I experience it as calmness in the middle of my outer and inner chaos and loving them both. Clarity of mind who finally gets I am at the right place.

There are days when everything makes sense and I feel ready for whatever. Everything seems possible. And there are days when the smallest thing feels difficult and my body is tired. In those moments I let go & rest, I go inwards and wait till I again gather energy from within. With gentleness and patience.

This "nothing is permanent" is being reminded to me through my yoga practice... Feelings and emotions, motivation and determination, joy or sadness, weakness or strenght ... they come and go. May you stick to the courage of your heart in difficult moments and to the humbleness when being high🙏

An achievement for me is, when I can finally relax in the asana, that has been difficult. The body keeps steady and mind becomes calm. All is suddenly at peace. Bliss.
