I had the honor of guiding a delegation of Knesset members who came on behalf of Israel to express their gratitude for the support of the Czech government. Together we saw the beautiful scenery of Prague and the deep connection of the city to the Jewish people and the State of Israel. It's extremely encouraging to see how the Czechs support us in such a difficult time, and how we know how to support back! 🇨🇿💪🇮🇱

I had the great honor and was particularly excited to show the beautiful Prague to my former commander in the army Brigadier General Avi Bnayahu. אבי בניהו - Avi Bnayahu
The tour brought back the vigor of my youth as a military spokesperson working with the international media, only this time the enchanting streets of Prague replaced the corridors of our base in the center of Tel Aviv. I was happy that now, after about a decade and a half, I had the opportunity to tell my commander about the Zionist heritage of Prague and the Czech positive attitude to Jews for many ages, which created such a special bond between the two nations.

I had the great honor of guiding and showing Prague to the President of Israel and the first lady. President Herzog's visit strengthens the many years of friendship between the two peoples, and it was exciting to feel the deep Czech-Jewish connection even on a short trip 🇮🇱🇨🇿

Maybe it looks like a pizza shop, but actually it's a printed scene of matza making from a Prague Haggadah from the 17th century.

The Jewish Book that Revealed the Secrets of the Heavens
In 1600, three scholars from completely different worlds met in the “New Venice” castle outside Prague. The meeting lasted three weeks and resulted in a Hebrew astronomy book, as well as in a lesson about the unifying power of love for the sciences and the quest for knowledge
