Our new publication is out! 🥳
X-ray-induced photodynamic therapy uses molybdenum nanoparticles to reduce the necessary X-ray dose for cancer treatment. This is a way to achieve radiotherapy with fewer side effects. The presented nanoparticles are efficient radiosensitisers, decreasing the X-ray dose by 2 times. Our current focus is on targeted therapy under hypoxic conditions.
