Yellow Jackets in Germany, Poland and Czech Republic

All through security, got some coffee and snacks and now we wait at the gate to board our flight to Munich. Everyone is in a good mood!!!

After a yummy, authentic Czech lunch, we walked across the Charles Bridge and took our last tour of the trip to the Jewish Quarter. We had some free time before dinner, so the girls rented scooters and rode around the market square. Our last dinner was Goulash and dumplings, which got mixed reviews. After dinner, we took a horse drawn carriage ride through the streets of Prague, before saying our final farewell to this beautiful city on a river cruise. We are getting everything packed and ready for a very early morning bus ride to the airport tomorrow.

Visited the castle and the John Lennon wall and got our spray paint on.

Finally made it to Prague! Tomorrow will have more time to explore, but we are safe and sound in our hotel . Long day!

We are on our way to Prague, and when stopped for a break, our driver noticed we had a flat tire. This was at 9:45. It is now 12 and it is going to take another hour. Thank goodness we have a place to get food and drinks, a place to sit, it is not raining and it not too cold or too hot! Kids are taking it like champs! Still have a long trip ahead of us.

After our tour of the concentration camp we went back to Krakow and had a free afternoon. I think we processed what we saw and it was a very impactful experience. After a 5 hour bus trip, we arrived in Krakow. It was a rainy day but we were all prepared and didn't get too wet. We walked through old town Krakow and visited 2 churches and the castle on the hill. We went to the Jewish Ghetto for dinner which was golumpki, a dish my Polish grandmother used to make! We have a VERY early start tomorrow, so we are finally headed toward the hotel to check in (8:00 pm Poland time). I think everyone is ready for a hot shower and an early night.

After an early night with AIR-CONDITIONING we had a very interesting walking tour around the Jewish Ghetto (what little remains showing it) and then some free time to explore Old Town Warsaw in depth. We enjoyed shopping, trying new foods and people watching. There was a lot of laughter at dinner with new found friends and the adults! Early morning tomorrow because we travel via bus to Krakow! So far, Poland is our unanimous favorite!!!
