Ústav taneční vědy Hudební a taneční fakulty Akademie múzických umění v Praze vyhlašuje výzvu pro příspěvky na mezinárodní konferenci Compassion, Acceptance and Mindfulness in Dance and Performing Arts Conference. Uvítáme teoretické stati i empirické příspěvky založené na praktických zkušenostech.
Důležité: Konference proběhne v anglickém jazyce, a proto musí být všechny podklady i následná prezentace v angličtině. V den konání konference budou poskytnuta česká shrnutí všech konferenčních příspevků (viz níže).
Tematické okruhy zahrnují (nikoli však výhradně) přístupy založené na laskavosti k sobě, přijetí a všímavosti ve vztahu k těmto oblastem:
- Well-being a duševní zdraví
- Pedagogické přístupy ve vzdělávání v tanci a performativních uměních
- Výkon, hodnocení výkonu a konkurzy
- Terapeutické procesy a tanečně-pohybová terapie
- Moc, ublížení na zdraví a absence výše uvedených přístupů
- Tančící tělo
- Umělecký výzkum
- Udržitelnost a druhá kariéra
Obecné pokyny pro zasílání abstraktů:
- Maximální rozsah: 2 000 znaků (včetně mezer)
o včetně citací v textu, bez názvu, seznamu zdrojů a klíčových slov
o abstrakty překračující stanovený limit budou vráceny bez recenzního posouzení k úpravě
- Počet klíčových slov: 3–5
- Abstrakt musí v textu jasně zahrnovat následující části: cíle, metodologii, výsledky a závěry
- Je nutné dodržet citační styl dle normy APA 7
Typy příspěvků:
- Orální prezentace
o délka: 15 minut + 5 minut na dotazy
o orální prezentace budou sdruženy do tematických bloků o 3–5 prezentujících
- Posterová prezentace
o formát posteru: A0 (118,9 cm na výšku × 84,1 cm na šířku)
o autor*autorka je povinen*povinna být přítomen*přítomna po celou dobu posterové sekce
Proces recenzního řízení:
- Do 24 hodin obdržíte e-mailové potvrzení o přijetí vašeho abstraktu.
- Některé abstrakty mohou být přijaty s podmínkou úprav; v takovém případě bude nutné zaslat upravenou verzi ve lhůtě uvedené v e-mailu.
- Upozorňujeme, že váš abstrakt může být přijat pro jiný typ prezentace (např. návrh orální prezentace může být přijat jako posterová prezentace).
- V případě přijetí je každý účastník povinen dodat písemné shrnutí příspěvku (v rozsahu maximálně 4 000 znaků), které bude přeloženo do češtiny a distribuováno účastníkům konference.
- Všichni prezentující autoři musí být na konferenci osobně přítomni; online prezentace nejsou povoleny.

The Institute of Choreology of the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague invites you to the international conference Compassion, Acceptance and Mindfulness in Dance and Performing Arts.
We welcome theoretical, empirical, and practice-based contributions, as well as diverse perspectives from scholars, practitioners, educators, and students.
Important: Conference language will be English. A Czech summary of the presentation will be distributed on the day of the conference.
Topics include, but are not limited to compassion-, acceptance-, and mindfulness-based practices in relation to:
Well-being and Mental Health
Pedagogies in dance and performing arts education
Performance, evaluation, and auditions
Therapeutic processes and dance/movement therapy
Power, harm, and the absence of the above-mentioned practices
The dancing and performing body
Artistic and practice-based research
Career sustainability and post-career identity
General Abstract Guidelines:
Character limit: 2 000 characters (spaces included)
Including in-text citations, but excluding title, sources, and keywords
Abstracts exceeding the limit will be returned without being reviewed to be shortened
Keywords limit: 3–5
Abstract should clearly cover the following elements within the text: objectives, method, results, and conclusions
APA 7 guidelines must be followed
Types of presentations:
Oral Presentations
Duration: 15 mins long + 5 minutes for questions
Oral presentations will be gathered into a thematic session of 3–5 presenters.
Poster Presentations
The poster format will be A0 (118.9 cm height x 84.1 cm width).
The author is expected to be present throughout the poster session.
Submission/Review Process:
You will receive an email confirmation about receiving your submission (within 24 hours).
Some abstracts are accepted pending revisions; in that case, it will be important to resubmit your abstract within the deadline that will be communicated in the e-mail
Please be aware that your abstract may be accepted for a different presentation type (e.g., a short oral presentation proposal may be accepted as a poster).
If accepted, each participant must provide a written summary (maximum of 4 000 characters) of the presentation, which will be translated into Czech and distributed to the attendees.
All presenting authors must be present at the conference; online presentations are not permitted.
