Class Reunion of the Class of 1976
Today, the English College in Prague on Sokolovská Street in Prague 9 is housed in the building of a former nine-year elementary school. After fifty years, it welcomed back alumni who attended the school from 1970 to 1976.
This year marks exactly 50 years since these classmates headed out into the world from what was then the 9th grade of the Jožka Jabůrková Nine-Year Elementary School (ZDŠ). The beautiful thing about such a meeting is that even after half a century, shared memories, old stories, and a sense of belonging do not disappear.

These photos capture the final, exciting phase of the school building extension at Sokolovská. The project nears completion, with the builders putting the finishing touches on the new facilities. These images offer a glimpse into the progress made on the new classrooms, the auditorium, the drama space, the refectory and the cellar. We are excited to welcome our students in the extension from September!

🌲 What an incredible Year 3 Science Trip to Jeseníky - Červenohorské sedlo! Our students spent four unforgettable days engaging in hands-on learning and mountain adventures: 🧪Chemistry Day: We toured the historic handmade paper mill and workshops in Velké Losiny⚡ Physics Day: We went behind the scenes at the impressive Kouty nad Desnou Hydroelectric Power Plant 🌿 Biology Day: We conquered an epic 14 km mountain hike through the beautiful peaks back to our hotel. From testing our engineering knowledge to putting our hiking boots to good use, everyone showed fantastic spirit and teamwork. A huge thank you to all the students and staff who made this journey phone-free, active, and filled with great memories! 🏔️✨

🌲 Adventure mode: ON! 🚴‍♂️🛶⛺️Our CCC crew just crushed CCC trip to Nová Pec! From pedaling through scenic trails and hiking up stunning peaks to paddling, our students gave it their all. We wrapped up the perfect days by pitching tents and sharing stories under the stars at the Nová Pec campsite. Huge shoutout to everyone who brought the energy, teamwork, and outdoor spirit!

The English College in Prague has officially been awarded the prestigious Partner School status by Charles University's Fakulta tělesné výchovy a sportu Univerzity Karlovy. This 10-year partnership recognizes the school's long-term dedication to promoting healthy lifestyles, physical education, and sports among its students. As a partner school, ECP will actively collaborate with FTVS UK on teacher training programs, pedagogical research, and university student internships.
