“𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫, 𝐢𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐮𝐭... 𝗪𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥...”
And I stopped myself from going further with that conversation in my head. I know where it will lead.😐
How many times you decide about your future keeping the past mistakes and failures as a reference for your ability to succeed or achieve anything in life.
The voice in your head goes out of it’s way to convince you that whatever you are planning to do is totally a waste of time or an utter failure.
Some call it 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘴, 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘮𝘦𝘥... 😤
Basically what is happening is that you yourself are becoming your biggest roadblock.🛑
Yes, everyone of us has failed miserably in our past, even the great ones amongst us have failed miserably multiple times. You can go and check the history books...📖
But there is a missing piece which our mind tends to comfortably ignore. I want to bring it to light and expose it’s truth.🔦
Every time you failed in your past, you learned something new and because of that YOU changed.
Even if you realized it or not, your identity shifted a little bit with every failure or learning in your past.
YOU are not the same person anymore and even after going through all those failures you are still here today and life is going on. It didn’t end... as many times our mind tends to forecast the worst possible failure scene. The actual experience was not that bad frankly... Go back and revisit them if you have to.🚶
So if you are stopping yourself from doing something new because you failed miserably in the past, remind yourself you are not the same person and even if you fail it is going to be totally OK.
Just go and ahead do it. Don’t look back at your past as a reference, you are not going that way!🔥🔥
