On Thursday, our Reception children 👧👦 visited Year 1 🏫 to get a taste of what learning will be like when they start in September 📚✏️.
Some children were happy to see friends again 👫, as they already knew each other from last year in kindergarten 🧸🎨.
The visit made them feel more excited and confident about starting Year 1 ⭐😊.

Today we marked My Freedom Day, the international project raising awareness of child slavery.
Our projects were on the theme of human rights, freedom, and the importance of standing up for others. Activities included competitions to spot fake people online and artwork promoting the idea of home and school as places of safety for children.

Our Drama Club have hit the stage in the musical 'Leošek and the Magic Harmonium', live at Základní Škola Mitušova 16 in Ostrava!
Written in English by Mr. Jaromír Návrat of ZUŠ Leoše Janáčka, our pupils had a great experience learning their parts and performing in such a professional environment.
