🌍💚 Welcome to the International Montessori Culture Box Project – Pilot 2025!

We are thrilled to share that 45 Montessori schools from 12 countries (Austria, Portugal, Canada, USA, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, Scotland, Tanzania, Switzerland, Armenia, Israel, and the Czech Republic) have already joined this global cultural exchange. 🎉

Here we will share updates, photos, and videos as children prepare their Culture Boxes — connecting Montessori communities across continents in the spirit of peace, diversity, and friendship.

The International Montessori Culture Box Project is a unique initiative that connects Montessori schools and kindergartens across the world. Children prepare and exchange Culture Boxes filled with items, drawings, traditions, and stories that represent their community.

Through this exchange, children experience the joy of sharing their own identity while discovering the diverse traditions of others. The project supports the Montessori vision of peace, respect, and global citizenship.

By joining the pilot edition in 2025, schools become part of an exciting international network that may grow into a yearly tradition for Montessori communities worldwide.

Children’s drawings or crafts

Postcards or photos of your city, school, or nature

Small objects or symbols of your traditions (non-perishable, safe for mailing)

ℹ️Online Culture Box – digital gallery with photos, videos, and stories
Photos or short videos of children preparing the box

Greetings or songs in your language (recordings)

A short description/story about your culture or traditions.
