The most effective techniques for fast and high-quality self-education and self-study
📌 Feynman 's Methodology
This technique is based on three stages:
1.Read and retell, as if explaining to a child. This is where the insight into the material takes place.
2.Repetition. It is important not just to study and understand once, but also to consolidate what has been passed. In this case, repetition works best.
3.Simplify the study of literature. Do not strive to remember professionalism, difficult moments. The main thing is to understand their essence and be able to describe it simply and clearly.
📌 Aivazovsky 's method
The well-known artist had an extraordinary memory. He practiced the following method of memorization: first, for several minutes with maximum concentration and attention, he looked at an object, landscape or other space, and then closed his eyes and mentally sorted out objects and details: the number of components, their colors and shapes, location, scale (size).
The student can carefully read and look at the text, and then closing his eyes or turning away from him, closing the book / abstract, try to reproduce it (aloud, in writing).
📌 Taking notes
This technique does not consist in banal rewriting of the text or taking notes of it. For the best memorization of information, it is enough to write down keywords or fix a brief outline of the topic being studied. In the future, it will be useful when repeating, and will also allow you to better remember exactly the essence.
