Master's in Ecology - Přírodovědecká fakulta JU A 2-year Master's study programme in Ecology has started in 2019 and extended the successful Quantitative Ecology Module lead by prof. Jan Lepš since 2011.

Last week, our Field Ecology trip took Czech and international students near Mohelno, where contrasting dry and wet grasslands and forests along river canyons are found. The students were fantastic - curious and fully engaged in observing local wildlife.

Field Ecology trip took place last week in Křivoklát. We have explored diverse habitats in the Berounka river canyon - alluvial forests, primaeval beach forest, dry rocky grasslands... Students learned about plant and animal communities and tried a few methods of field data collection.
