Lipka Trip Adventure 🌿🐾

Our AAB Middle School students spent an amazing day in nature, exploring the forest through fun challenges and interactive activities. ✨ They used their senses, touch, sound, and smell to recognize different objects. Searched for signs of animals in the woods, and completed exciting tasks along the way.

The trip was not only full of adventure and teamwork, but also a chance to learn more about wildlife, the environment, and the beauty of connecting with nature. 💚🍂 A day full of discoveries, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

🩺⛑️ Last week, students from Lower Middle School visited the First Aid event at Dominikánské náměstí! 🚑✨

Kids had the chance to practice CPR and learn how to do the Heimlich Maneuver in emergency situations. They also tried on contamination suits 🧤🥼, explored medical equipment, and learned many interesting facts about health and safety.

The event was not only educational, but also really fun and interactive! 😄 Everyone enjoyed trying new things, asking questions, and getting a closer look at the world of medicine and first responders 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️❤️

This week’s Flag Ceremony is brought to you by our newest Argentinian students, Uma and Chloe. 🇦🇷

The Argentine flag is a beautiful symbol of the country’s history and national identity.

Its light blue and white stripes are often associated with the sky and clouds, while the golden sun in the center is an important national symbol connected to Argentina’s path toward independence. ☀️

The flag’s bright and elegant design reflects pride, hope, and unity. Argentina is a country full of passion, beauty, and tradition.

It is famous for tango 💃, the stunning landscapes of Patagonia 🏔️, the spectacular Iguazú Falls 🌊, traditional foods such as empanadas 🥟, the popular drink mate 🧉, and its deep love of football ⚽.

Last week, students had an exciting trip to Prague to see the Museum of Communism. 🇨🇿 🚆

Students had the opportunity to learn about the country's Communist past, and the various struggles affecting millions of lives.

The museum entailed exhibitions, videos, voice recordings, and historic objects, all of which were fascinating and insightful. 🖼️

Students were also given worksheets as they moved through each of the sections, helping them engage more closely and remember information.

Here is a look at AAB’s Spanish class 🇪🇸. Students explored Spanish cuisine,by working in teams cooking their own choice of Spanish food 🍲.

The activity allowed students to connect their language learning with Spanish culture. From preparing ingredients to comparing finished dishes.

The end results were delicious 😋!

On the 22nd of April, students from AAB’s Czech 🇨🇿 for foreigners class visited the Mendelovo muzeum MU - Mendel Museum of Masaryk University. The trip allowed students to grasp the true meaning behind Gregor Johann Mendel’s work and the scientific significance of his discoveries 💡 in genetics and fundamental laws of inheritance 🧬.

The trip served as both educational and engaging, allowing students to connect classroom learning with real events and locations within the Czech Republic, giving insight into just how greatly history plays a role within the city of Brno.
