US MBA studia na VUT v Brně

Graduation is a milestone worth celebrating; it reflects not only academic achievement, but also consistency, discipline, and professional growth over time.

On March 20, 2026, we had the pleasure of celebrating the graduation of Cohort 14 of our MBA program at the Faculty of Business and Management, Brno University of Technology.

This cohort completed an intensive learning journey designed for working professionals; combining weekend modules, applied assignments, and continuous development of leadership and decision-making skills.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗱?

That was the focus of a 120-minute seminar for our MBA students at FBM BUT on the 20th of February 2026, led by alumni guest lecturer Ing. Jindřich Salajka, MBA.

𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱:
• investing basics and the role of investing
• what affects stock prices
• choosing suitable vs. unsuitable instruments
• working with ProRealTime DEMO (including configuring TA tools)
• identifying stocks worth attention and separating signals from noise
• building a practical watchlist process
• case study: INVO Fertility (IVF) shares

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗕𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝘆.

This semester, students of Cohort 15 will deepen their management skill set across five key modules:

• 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – Exploring how effective planning, development, and ex*****on shape successful marketing approaches. As well as focussing on online marketing and social media.

• 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 – Providing an understanding the role of information systems in business and corporate governance, including evaluation of implementation, efficiency, and opportunities for improvement. Including effective use of AI.

• 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – Applying strategic models and tools to conduct situational analysis (macro environment, industry, and internal capabilities) and formulate, select, and implement an optimal business strategy.

• 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀 – Using economic analysis to solve real business problems and support decision-making, bridging theoretical economics with business administration.

• 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗨𝗦𝗔 𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲) – Developing practical frameworks for investment and funding decisions, building financial market and valuation fundamentals, and exploring advanced finance topics through applied research.

The new Semester of the MBA program at the Faculty of Business and Management, Brno University of Technology, has successfully begun!

At the end of September, we welcomed two Cohorts of our students:
Cohort 14, which entered its third Semester,
and the brand new Cohort 15, which officially began its studies on September 26, 2025.

We celebrated the start of the Semester with an evening gathering of students from both groups, which provided a pleasant atmosphere and an opportunity for networking.

During the first two teaching weekends, we were once again visited by lecturers from our partner University of St. Francis (USA) – Prof. Richard Vaughan, who taught the Management and Organizational Behavior module,
and Dr. Bonnie Covelli, who led the Project Management module.

We believe that this Semester will also bring our students a lot of new knowledge, inspiration, and opportunities for professional growth.
