SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER 2026
The International Festival of Theatre Schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER is organized mainly by students of the Theatre Faculty of Brno’s Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts. It provides a forum for international cooperation among universities in the field of performing arts. The festival gives participants the chance to see the outcome as well as the process of creative work by performing arts schools from around the world, to discuss principles of theatre teaching and to inspire each other.

Festival week was full of fun, theatre, new encounters, and moments when we all needed a little extra support to keep going!🌀🌀🌀
Not only Alberto and Hanka found a great way to stay focused and capable throughout the week, but also our whole organizing team, volunteers, interns, guests, and everyone who was part of the festival!
A huge thank you to for being part of our festival and keeping us company all week long! We are grateful for your support and lovely cooperation!💜

Their kombucha kept us refreshed throughout the long days! A perfect alternative to all the coffee and exactly what we needed to keep going! From meetings to discussions, Loklok was always there with us!
