Hi everyone! We're excited to be putting on an English speaking art morning/gathering type thing for kids and parents on the 8th and 10th of August! We'll be doing something similar to the picture below (curtesy of pinterest!): Some salt dough memory ornaments🥰 I'll bring lots of provisions so feel free to just rock up but if you know you're coming, also that would be super helpful😅

Thanks to everyone who came last Thursday to the English playgroup. It was lovely to meet lots of new people!

I'm afraid my daughter Ruby has got chicken pox since then so potentially was contagious when we were there. ☹️☹️ I am so sorry!! I just wanted to give everyone a head's up, especially if anyone is pregnant...

We're really excited about this month's English Playgroup! We're going to thinking about notions of "home" and making a play house tipi! The craft will involve printing and ink stamps so please bring old clothes 👍👍👍 See you this Thursday!

This month, we'll be reading 'Home' by the illustrator Carson Ellis! It's a beautiful book that takes a look at the concept of home and it will be read by the brilliant Beth Edgell followed by a craft activity run by the Brno based artist Amy Chapman. Hope you can join us! :)

PS. We are an English speaking playgroup open to Pre-School Children and their caregivers. We meet once a month for a read-aloud story and craft activity (plus lots of tea + cake!) All languages welcome!

Set up in 2018, we are based in the Církev bratrská in the downstairs children’s area. The space is accessible for buggies via a lift in the courtyard or external steps, and if the door isn’t open just press the buzzer!

There is no entrance fee, but any donations towards craft materials are welcome! :) No reservation required, we’d love you to join us anytime!
