The Psychology of Why We Forgive Some People and Not Others.

Over the years of working with communication, I have noticed a recurring pattern.

Sometimes people are not reacting to the action itself.

They are reacting to the person.

That is why the very same mistake can provoke completely different responses.

When someone perceived as “one of us” makes a mistake, people tend to look for explanations:

— they were tired;
— they were under pressure;
— these things happen.

But when the mistake comes from someone who stands out, evokes strong emotions, or unintentionally becomes a point of comparison, the reaction is often very different.

At that moment, the mistake stops being just a mistake.

It becomes an opportunity.

An opportunity to say what has long remained unsaid.

An opportunity to express accumulated frustration.

An opportunity to restore a personal sense of justice.

There is an interesting psychological phenomenon behind this.

The more someone triggers comparison within us, the harder it becomes to remain objective about them.

This is why the harshest judgments are often directed not at the worst people - but at the most visible ones.

Those who dared to step forward.

Those who chose to be seen.

Those who take up space.

Those who remind others of ambitions, dreams, or possibilities they have not yet pursued themselves.

Sometimes this reaction is rooted in competition.

Sometimes in resentment.

Sometimes in envy.

But almost always, it is driven by emotions that run much deeper than the situation itself.

As a psycholinguist, I see this again and again.

Most conflicts do not escalate because people lack facts.

They escalate because people do not fully understand their own emotional responses.

This is why mature communication begins not with the question:

"Who is right?"

but with:

“What exactly am I experiencing right now?”

Because until we understand our own emotions, we are likely to attribute them to other people's actions.

And that is often the beginning of conflict.

One of the most important things I teach in my consul

✨ A little beautiful update ✨

These past days brought so many emotions, conversations and connections with wonderful women.

And I truly feel grateful for every single one of you who shared your energy, stories and presence throughout this journey.

To bring a little light moment into this experience, I decided to open something special 🤍

I am gifting one invitation to my women’s yacht experience
“Cleopatra Day”
a 4-hour intimate journey at sea this Sunday, departing from Latchi Marina.

This is not about competition.

It is simply a beautiful selection process for one woman who feels aligned with the atmosphere of this experience - presence, softness, elegance and feminine balance.

To participate:
✨ join the private selection group in WA (link in bio / message me)
✨ share a few words about why this resonates with you in comments👇
✨ and be open to receiving something beautiful

Inside the WA group I will share all details about the retreat, inspiration, and the philosophy behind “Cleopatra Day”.

And most importantly - I want this space to feel warm, kind and supportive for everyone 🤍

Because even in intense moments, we can still choose beauty, softness and connection.

See you inside ✨

Today we often speak about success, productivity, visibility and achievement.
But much more rarely do we speak about balance.

And yet I believe that one of the greatest challenges for modern women is exactly this:
how to remain successful without losing ourselves in the process.

How to stay feminine in a world that constantly demands speed.
How to continue giving without emotional exhaustion.
How to stay connected to beauty, softness and inner calm while living inside enormous pressure.

This is why the topic of my article for World International Magazine is so important to me.

I truly believe that beauty begins not from appearance, but from inner state.
From the way a woman speaks.
From the way she carries herself.
From the atmosphere she creates around her.
From her ability to remain connected to herself.

And perhaps today, more than ever, women need spaces where they can slow down, breathe, communicate honestly and remember who they are beyond all roles and expectations.

Thank you to World International Magazine for creating such a beautiful international platform for women’s voices, ideas and creativity.

And thank you to all of you for your presence, your energy and your openness tonight 🤍

Sometimes life feels too loud.

Too many opinions, too many emotions, too much noise.

And that is exactly why I believe in spaces like this.

This Sunday we return to the sea for my women’s yacht retreat “Cleopatra Day”.

A day without pressure.
Without competition.
Without proving anything.

Just women, the sea, breath, beauty and presence.

A space where we slow down, come back to ourselves, and remember what it feels like to be in a calm, feminine rhythm again.

If you feel called — you are welcome to join us 🤍

Last week I had the honour of being part of the presentation of World International Magazine, a beautiful international project bringing together women, culture, creativity and meaningful conversations.

I was especially happy to contribute my own article to this edition and to speak about something very close to my heart:
the importance of feminine balance in a world that constantly pushes us into speed, pressure and overload.

The magazine itself turned out beautifully - elegant, aesthetic and truly pleasant to hold in your hands 🙏
It brings together articles from experts and partners of the project, as well as stories and presentations of the contestants themselves, creating a very multidimensional and inspiring edition.

A special thank you to Katarina Belova and Elena Nazarova for the enormous amount of work, energy and heart invested into creating this project and bringing so many women together.

The evening reminded me once again how powerful meaningful female communities can be when they are built through beauty, openness, creativity and shared growth.

Grateful to everyone I met that evening and to World International Magazine for the invitation and the opportunity to share my thoughts both through my article and the live presentation 🤍
