NOVATEX had the pleasure of participating for another year in Robotex Cyprus 2026 as a Bronze Sponsor and welcoming visitors to our booth.
During the event, we met students, parents, teachers, and robotics enthusiasts, sharing information about our work, our projects, and the innovative solutions we develop.

Visitors enjoyed:
🔹 Trying our DexArm robotic arm
🔹 Experiencing Virtual Reality (VR)
🔹 Learning about our ongoing projects
🔹 Learning about the Eco Schools project and seeing how a micro:bit connected to a soil moisture sensor can measure soil moisture through a live demonstration of the code and real-time sensor readings, showing how simple technology can support sustainability and biodiversity.

It was inspiring to see so many young people presenting their own robotics projects and creative ideas. We were especially encouraged by projects that combined robotics with environmental awareness.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Nathan Metsälä, CEO of Robotex International, and discussing the important role of STEM education, innovation, and international collaboration.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, and congratulations to the organizers, volunteers, coaches, and participants for making Robotex Cyprus 2026 another successful event.

We are pleased to share that George K Georgiou is currently representing Novatex Solutions Ltd at the PECS and Associate Member States Industry Days 2026, taking place in Valletta, Malta (23-24 April 2026).

Organised by the European Space Agency - ESA in collaboration with .malta , the event brings together industry leaders, institutional partners, and key stakeholders from across Europe’s space sector.
As part of the programme, he delivered a presentation highlighting the activities and strategic vision of the company, with a strong focus on innovation, digital transformation, and cross-sector collaboration.

The event provides valuable opportunities to engage with partners, explore synergies, and contribute to strengthening Europe’s space ecosystem.

A look back at VR4BEES! 🌍🐝

Although the VR4BEES project officially wrapped up, we couldn’t miss sharing some of our favorite moments with you!

Through immersive 360° VR experiences, we explored the fascinating world of beekeeping, highlighting the essential role of bees in pollination, biodiversity, and sustainability. 🌱

From learning about climate change impacts to discovering how bees connect with business and innovation, this journey brought education and technology together in a truly unique way.

Last Monday, March 30, the Cyprus–Greece High Technology & Innovation Conference took place at UNIC Athens.

The event brought together people from government, business, startups, and the innovation ecosystem from both countries, creating great opportunities for collaboration and networking.

It was a great meeting point for ideas, partnerships, and future projects, with the goal of becoming a strong annual event connecting Cyprus and Greece.
