Description

This is a program designed for highly motivated students wishing to acquire advanced research and intellectual (analytical) skills in the area of business administration. The aim of the program is to prepare a generation of highly effective PhD scholars aiming to pursue careers in the academia or consulting in the private or public sector. The program provides students with a solid theoretical background and the opportunity to conduct innovative, highly focused research in business administration, for the purpose of creating new knowledge.

Employment Opportunities

PhD graduates will acquire the necessary conceptual skills to pursue careers in an academic and/or research environment in Cyprus and abroad. The methodological skills they will acquire, combined with the innovative nature of their dissertation qualifies our PhD graduates with career prospects in consulting and high level management.

Evaluating a MLM Company

I can’t stress this enough – the first thing you need to do when you’re looking into a company, is picture yourself sharing this product or service with others.

More importantly, WILL you do it?

There is no MLM company that will build itself. Short of being a scam, there is no way for your business to grow without you sharing the business and product with people. As successful as I’ve been in network marketing, there are no shortcuts – this business is about networking!

ESMT and the Hertie School of Governance Announce Dual Degree Executive MBA/MPA Program

Two-year program to launch in the fall of 2016

Two Berlin-based schools, ESMT and the Hertie School of Governance, have announced plans to launch a new program that combines an Executive MBA with a Master of Public Administration.

The new EMBA/MPA dual-degree program will be the first of its kind in Europe. It's set to help participants understand the intersection between politics, business, and society.

According to Helmut Anheier, the president of the Hertie School: “Be it the viable use of resources, the integration of migrants into the labor market, or financial stability - with many challenges we face, we would make faster progress with inter-sectoral thinking in everyday management. As an important center for politics and business in the heart of Europe, Berlin is an ideal location for an international Executive MBA/MPA such as the one the Hertie School and ESMT are offering.”

The entire program will be two years long; most of the curriculum will be delivered in Berlin. However, there will be some workshops in Brussels and London, as well as international field trips to countries such as Argentina, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, or Malaysia.

To apply for the program, those interested should have a university degree and at least five years of work experience. The program will start in the fall of 2016; applications will be accepted beginning on December 4, 2015.

Work and study

The Master School programme is designed to allow you to work and study at the same time. The extent of the Master’s programme is either 60 or 90 credits. The studies take approximately two years. The duration depends on the extent of your studies. The programme is based on multiform learning: the studies include classroom sessions, online studies and independent work. An individual study plan is drafted for each student so you can choose the direction of your studies.

Master’s degree programmes based on blended learning

Master’s degree programmes at universities of applied sciences provide students with the competence to conduct applied research in order to benefit their field of business or industry. The students learn to apply theory to practice and develop their analytical, project management, R&D and social skills. The Master’s thesis, which is work-related, is an important part of the studies.

Master’s degrees from universities of applied sciences are equal to other higher university degrees in terms of qualifying for public office. The studies are planned taking into account the time management challenges that adult students may face. Each student drafts an individual study plan (HOPS). The programme is delivered using blended learning methods, enabling studying alongside work.
