Congratulations to Ruby for another huge milestone! 🔱✨
​Ruby first learned to dive with us right here at Scuba Tech, and watching her grow over the last several years into the diver she is today has been an absolute privilege. This year was a massive one for her training—tackling her PADI Enriched Air Nitrox, Rescue Diver, and capping it all off with the Deep Diver Specialty! 🤿
​For her final deep dive, she descended to the maximum recreational depth of 40 meters on the world-famous Zenobia Wreck. She nailed her depth color/narcosis test, handled the skills flawlessly, and finished off with a textbook simulated decompression stop on the drop tank. Exceptional buoyancy, complete calm under pressure, and outstanding situational awareness.
​We are so incredibly proud of the confident, skilled young woman and diver Ruby has become! Keep pushing those boundaries—we can't wait to see where your underwater journey takes you next! 💙

A great day of teaching today on the Zenobia wreck.

Firstly, a massive congratulations 🎊 to Steve, who completed his PADI Deep Specialty with a 40m and 35m dive respectively.

In the meantime, we were also joined by Chris, who is practicing his dive skills for completing the PADI TEC 40 course next week and Bec, who is in the midst of her TDI Advanced Nitrox.

It's official! Scuba Diving is a Family Affair!!

Today, we were overjoyed to take our friend's 11 year old boy scuba diving in Cyprus. Not his first time diving, since his Dad took him for a bubblemaker experience when he was 8 years old and he has dived also in Egypt... how amazing for such a young lad.

A massive congratulations 🎊 to our newest Open Water Divers in Cyprus!!

Last year, Katrina and Karlus were recommended to come and see us at Scuba Tech so they could try diving. Needless to say, they loved the experience and this year they returned to take the SDI Open Water Training.

Today we completed the final 2 dives of the course and they leave tonight as Qualified Open Water Divers. Celebrations are definitely in order!!

Well done guys. I hope that this is the first step in many down your diving pathway.

A glorious bank holiday weekend in Cyprus and the perfect time to get our Tech on.

Today, we continue with our PADI Tec40 training with Chris with a big classroom lesson on dive planning and gas planning, followed by a 30m dive to calculate SAC rates with a few emergency drills thrown in for good measure.

More maths in the classroom and a 40m dive planned for zenobia wreck on Wednesday. Here we go!!

Day 1 of PADI Tec 40 in the books! 🤿⚡️
​Taking the step from recreational to technical diving is a whole new mindset, and today’s candidates kicked off their Tec 40 course right here in sunny Cyprus.
​We started out on land with a solid online Nitrox basics refresh. In tech diving, exact gas management and precision planning are everything, so locking down the fundamentals early is step number one. 📊
​Before getting anywhere near the ocean, it was time for dry drills:
🔹 Equipment streamlining & hose routing
🔹 Valve management and reachability
🔹 Reel and SMB deployment practice
​Mastering muscle memory on dry land means fewer distractions and much better precision once you're underwater! 🧠🎯
​With the theory and dry runs checked off, we headed over to Green Bay to put it all into practice in the sea—focusing on buoyancy, trim, and absolute control. Day 1 complete, and the baseline is set! 💪🌊

16 years of underwater memories and still going strong! 🌊🤿

​It’s always a absolute pleasure welcoming back familiar faces, especially when you’ve been diving together for over a decade and a half. Today we say hi again to Steve and headed over to The Tunnels in Ayia Napa for some stunning, easy light-zone swim-throughs.
