We don't usually announce our goodbyes publicly.
In fact, only we know how many goodbyes we've had to endure throughout our nine years as a nursery. Every single one has been difficult, because when you build a place with a culture like ours, the people who become part of it become part of our family.
This one, however, felt a little different...
Instead of a sad farewell, we chose to send Elena off the only way we know how... with laughter, hugs, a few tears (okay... maybe more than a few 😅), and a video that perfectly captures our humorous way of dealing with the things we'd rather not accept and, of course, our wonderfully chaotic Little Alchemists spirit.
This isn't just a goodbye to a teacher. It's a goodbye to someone who helped shape the story of Little Alchemists from the very beginning. No "thank you" could ever truly express how blessed we have been to have had you by our side since September 2017. Those who know our journey know exactly what that means.
Elena has been so much more than an educator. She has been a source of kindness, laughter, patience, love, and just the right amount of fairy dust in every classroom she walked into. She has touched the lives of hundreds of children, supported countless families, and left a piece of herself in every corner of our nursery.
We wish you nothing but happiness and all the little joys that perfectly suit your beautiful personality. We truly hope life gives back every bit of the fairy dust you've sprinkled on every single one of us, because no one could ever do it quite like you.
