Vor 65 Jahren, am 13. August 1961, riegelt die DDR-Führung über Nacht die Grenze zwischen Ost- und West-Berlin ab – der Bau der Berliner Mauer beginnt. Fast drei Jahrzehnte lang teilt sie die Stadt und trennt Familien und Freund*innen. Für den damals 13-jährigen Michael wird dieser Tag zum Wendepunkt seines Lebens.
