Kyri Kiteou is representing Med High School in the Cyprus Euroscola team on the 15/4/2015. Good luck Cyprus

Teachers and students from the Mediterranean High School were given the great privilege to participate in a Euroscola conference which took place in the European Parliament, at Strasbourg.
Our school was especially honoured, as Mr. Alexis Coudounaris was selected to be the group leader of the entire Cyprus team which consisted of two Med High teachers (Mr.Coudounaris and Ms Angela Ioannou), seven Med High Students (Natalie Nicolaou, Harikleia Markides, Christos Eleftheriou, Eleni Havadjia, Anastasia Papadopoulou, Nilgun Hussein and Volkan Sarri) as well as students from public schools but also two Turkish Cypriot teachers and students from the Turkish Cypriot Community.
Apart from having the opportunity to study and debate topics such as youth employment, food waste and renewable energy, our students also had the opportunity to contribute to peaceful bridge building between the two communities of our island.
The trip lasted from the 29th of January until the 1st of February during which students and teachers were able to explore the German city of Heidleberg.
Our school is very proud of our students’ participation but also of the especial coordinating role of Med High this year.
