RISE UP 🌿 Climate education is not only about knowledge, it is also about reflection, resilience, and action.
As part of the RISE UP project, SYNTHESIS Cyprus carried out pilot testing activities with higher education professionals to gather feedback on the project’s Adapted Framework, Policy Brief, and Educators’ Toolbox.
The consultations brought together professionals from different fields, including law, psychology, medicine, linguistics, and literature, offering a valuable interdisciplinary perspective. Participants responded positively to the materials, highlighting their relevance, quality, and practical value, especially the Educators’ Toolbox, which was seen as a strong resource for workshops, student support services, awareness activities, and wider educational settings.
The feedback confirmed the importance of approaching climate education holistically: not only through information, but also through emotional processing, critical thinking, wellbeing, and meaningful sustainable action.
A warm thank you to everyone who contributed their time, insights, and expertise to this process. 🌱

GreenVΕΤ 🌱 Sustainability is not only a goal. It is a practice.
Through the GreenVET Pathway Multiplier Events in Nicosia, we had the opportunity to explore how green skills, vocational education, and practical tools can support a more sustainable future.
Across two events, participants engaged with the GreenVET resources, exchanged ideas, and reflected on how sustainability can become part of everyday learning, teaching, and organisational practice.
Because the green transition does not happen only in policies or reports.
It begins in classrooms, conversations, communities and in the small practical steps we choose to take together. 🌿
