The Migrant Kids at School project implement in Cyprus by CARDET, has developed practical resources to help schools, teachers, and communities create more inclusive learning environments for migrant children across Europe.

🗣️ Η ψυχική ανθεκτικότητα χτίζεται μέσα από τη σύνδεση, τη συμμετοχή και την πρόληψη. Η ένταξη των νέων σε κοινότητες όπου νιώθουν ασφάλεια, αποδοχή και υποστήριξη, καθώς και η ενασχόληση με δραστηριότητες που ενισχύουν την ευεξία τους, μπορούν να συμβάλουν ουσιαστικά στην προστασία της ψυχικής τους υγείας.

«Οι πολιτικές για τη νεολαία πρέπει να δίνουν μεγαλύτερη έμφαση στην πρόληψη και στον αποστιγματισμό της ψυχικής υγείας, ώστε οι νέοι να νιώθουν ότι μπορούν να αναζητήσουν βοήθεια χωρίς φόβο».

At CARDET, we are committed to empowering youth through projects that strengthen civic engagement, inclusion and essential life skills. 💙

🌍 Building a more digital, sustainable and resilient future for European tourism!

The EU-funded fuTOURiSME - EU Project is supporting experiential tourism SMEs across six European countries to embrace the twin transition, combining digital innovation with sustainable and green business models.

Through training, coaching, sustainability assessments and direct financial support, fuTOURiSME, implemented in Cyprus by CARDET, is helping tourism businesses turn innovation into practical action.

🗣️ «Η ψυχική υγεία είναι εξίσου σημαντική με τη σωματική υγεία. Το να ζητάμε βοήθεια όταν τη χρειαζόμαστε δεν είναι ένδειξη αδυναμίας. Είναι ένδειξη δύναμης».

Το μήνυμά είναι ότι κανείς δεν πρέπει να αντιμετωπίζει τις δυσκολίες μόνος του. Η έγκαιρη αναζήτηση υποστήριξης μπορεί να κάνει τη διαφορά και να μας βοηθήσει να φροντίσουμε τον εαυτό μας και την ευημερία μας!

🗣️ Οι πολιτικές για τους νέους πρέπει να σχεδιάζονται με τους ίδιους τους νέους στο επίκεντρο. Το άγχος, η πίεση και το στρες επηρεάζουν άμεσα την ψυχική υγεία και, σε αρκετές περιπτώσεις, συνδέονται με τον κίνδυνο ανάπτυξης εξαρτήσεων.

«Στην Κύπρο υπάρχουν δομές και γραμμές υποστήριξης για τους νέους σχετικά με τις εξαρτήσεις, όμως χρειάζεται να γίνουν πιο προσβάσιμες. Παράλληλα, είναι απαραίτητο να ενισχυθεί η ψυχολογική στήριξη στα σχολεία και να προωθηθεί ο αθλητισμός ως μέσο αποφόρτισης, ενδυνάμωσης και πρόληψης».
