📚 ELAI: What have we achieved so far?

Our ELAI project is moving forward, and we're now working on the final stages of development!

Together with our partners, we have:
✅ Developed the Methodological Guide to support teachers and VET trainers in using AI in education.
🛠️ Contributed to the development of the Toolkit, with practical resources and tools for educators.
🧪 Started supporting the piloting of A4, our final project result, where educators are testing the Guidelines for AI Integration in Mobility Training and providing valuable feedback.

🌍 All project outcomes are also being translated into the languages of all partners, including Greek, making the resources accessible to a wider range of educators.

We’re looking forward to seeing how the project progresses as we near the end of this exciting initiative. Stay tuned for more!

🌍 Learning through international exchange: Our Erasmus+ Job Shadowing experience

As part of our Erasmus+ Accreditation programme, funded by our National Agency ΙΔΕΠ Διά Βίου Μάθησης Erasmus+ Cyprus , one of our team members had the opportunity to participate in a Job Shadowing activity in Cluj, Romania gaining valuable insights into different working practices, educational approaches, and project management methods.

During the mobility, we exchanged experiences with colleagues, explored new approaches to teaching, training, project implementation and other innovative practices, and learned from the everyday practices of another European organisation.

The experience helped us:
✅ Discover new ideas and good practices that we can adapt to our own work
✅ Strengthen our professional skills and knowledge
✅ Build connections and opportunities for future collaboration
✅ Bring fresh perspectives back to our organisation

Together with our partners in the Netherlands and Greece, we're developing an AI-powered platform for language teachers, by language teachers through our Erasmus+ project PersonaLingua. 🇪🇺

At the heart of the PersonaLingua project is an AI-powered platform designed to support language teachers by making it easier to organise resources, monitor learner progress, and create personalised learning experiences.

Here's what teachers can already do on the platform:

👤 Student Profiles
Keep track of each learner's progress by uploading reports, observations, and feedback in one organised space.

📚 Shared School Library
Access and contribute to a collaborative library of teaching materials that can be shared with colleagues.

🤖 AI-Powered Recommendations
Receive suggestions for learning materials based on each student's needs, using resources already available in the shared library.

✨ Generate New Learning Materials
The platform can also help teachers create new learning activities based on the materials that have already been uploaded.

🗂️ Upload and Organise Resources
Teachers can upload, categorise, and manage their educational materials, making them easy to find and reuse whenever they're needed.

🎥 To support our pilot teachers, we've also developed a User Guide and a step-by-step video tutorial to help them navigate the platform and make the most of its tools.

This is just the beginning, and we're excited to continue improving the platform together with our educators.

✨ This past week, one of our team members had the opportunity to attend the "ChatGPT and Basic AI Tools" course delivered by Europass Teacher Academy in Florence, Italy, through our Erasmus+ Accreditation!

🌍As an Erasmus+ accredited organisation by our national agency ΙΔΕΠ Διά Βίου Μάθησης Erasmus+ Cyprus , we're committed to investing in the continuous professional development of our staff. Participating in international training allows us to strengthen our skills, exchange ideas with educators from across Europe, and bring fresh knowledge back to our organisation 🤝

💡 During the course, we explored practical ways to use AI tools to support teaching, improve productivity, create educational resources, and enhance everyday workflows.

🚀 We're excited to put what we've learned into practice and use these new skills to further improve the training and educational opportunities we offer.

🎉✈️ Great News from Our Erasmus+ Accreditation in Adult Education!

We are happy to announce that the next round of funding for our Erasmus+ Accreditation has already been approved by ΙΔΕΠ Διά Βίου Μάθησης Erasmus+ Cyprus for the period of 2026-2027 !

This means we will soon continue with a new cycle of learning mobilities, training courses, and development activities that support both our staff and our organization.

✈️📚 As part of our Erasmus Accreditation, one of our administrative staff member recently participated in the "Intermediate English for School Administration and Non-Teaching Staff" training course in Greece.

This mobility was made possible through the annual funding we receive from the Erasmus+ Accreditation Programme for Adult Education, which supports the continuous professional development of our staff.

🌍 Strengthening English communication skills is more than just professional development, it helps us create a more inclusive and accessible environment for the diverse learners, partners, and stakeholders we work with every day.

At our organization, learning is not limited to educators. Every member of our team plays an important role in creating positive learning experiences, and investing in their development helps us better serve our community. 💙

✈️ One of our staff members recently participated in the "Mastering Writing of KA1 and KA2 Erasmus+ Proposals" training course with Europass Teacher Academy in Florence, Italy ✨

This valuable learning opportunity was made possible through our Erasmus Accreditation for Adult Education, awarded by our National Agency, ΙΔΕΠ Διά Βίου Μάθησης Erasmus+ Cyprus 🚀

✈️ One of our trainers recently participated in the "Innovative Learning: Digitalisation and Webtools" training course in Thessaloniki, Greece with Charisma International exploring innovative digital tools and web-based solutions that can enhance teaching and learning practices.

This mobility was made possible through our Erasmus Accreditation in the field of Adult Education, awarded by our National Agency, ΙΔΕΠ Διά Βίου Μάθησης Erasmus+ Cyprus. Thanks to our accreditation, our organization receives annual funding to support staff mobilities and professional development opportunities across Europe.

This past Saturday, one of our teachers delivered an inspiring knowledge-sharing session on AI and its role in the classroom 💡

After recently participating in a training course abroad through our Erasmus Accreditation in Adult Education programme, she returned with valuable insights and practical tools to help our staff navigate the rapidly evolving world of Artificial Intelligence in education 🤖

As AI continues to become an essential part of modern teaching and learning, we are proud to support opportunities that empower our educators with new knowledge, skills, and innovative approaches for the classroom of the future 🚀

Last week, we hosted a teacher training seminar in Cyprus on gamification and digital tools in education. With the guidance of the expert trainer Andreea Breaz of the Gutenberg Language Center, our teachers explored creative ways to make learning more interactive, fun, and engaging for students 🚀

As an accredited organization by the Cyprus National Agency for Erasmus+ initiatives, we are committed to continuously invest in staff development opportunities in Cyprus and abroad, expanding both our knowledge and the impact of our work 💡
