Free Training - Managing Emergency Actions
All Europe is going through extraordinary emergency issues the past years. This project focuses on engaging young people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities in being prepared to handle emergency situations. We designed EM-CITY project to promote social cohesion among different groups in the local communities in case of an emergency, giving emphasis to young people, believing that if properly sensitized and involved, can play a pivotal role in facilitating the procedures and relations amongst ALL citizens. This is a great opportunity for only 4 young people currently living in Cyprus between 18-30 years old from any cultural or linguistical background to get in touch, affiliate and learn along 16, young people who will travel from Italy, Greece and Turkey to Cyprus especially for this LTTA. The training will be led by well established experts in the field.
Content of the Training:
Teamwork in Emergency: Exchanging Knowledge and Observing activity covering the basics of emergency management and four stages of the emergency management process.
The young participants will receive a certificate of participation.
*COVID-19 considerations: Detailed COVID-19 safety measures will be prepared due time.
