Με επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε η Ημερίδα “Γίνομαι Αξιωματικός Εμπορικού Ναυτικού για μία Μέρα”, στο εκπαιδευτικό κέντρο της Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM-MTC), στη Μαρίνα Λεμεσού
Η ημερίδα διοργανώθηκε από το Intercollege και τη Ναυτική Ακαδημία Κύπρου, με στόχο να προσφέρει σε μαθητές και νέους τη δυνατότητα να γνωρίσουν από κοντά τον κόσμο της εμπορικής ναυτιλίας, να ενημερωθούν για τις επαγγελματικές προοπτικές του κλάδου και να αποκτήσουν βιωματική εμπειρία σχετικά με τον ρόλο του Αξιωματικού Εμπορικού Ναυτικού.
Οι συμμετέχοντες είχαν την ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσουν σύντομη παρουσίαση, να ξεναγηθούν στους υπερσύγχρονους προσομοιωτές γέφυρας και μηχανοστασίου, και να συνομιλήσουν με έμπειρους αξιωματικούς και εκπαιδευτές για τις απαιτήσεις και τις ευθύνες της ναυτικής ζωής.
Η ημερίδα εντάσσεται στο πλαίσιο των δράσεων επαγγελματικού προσανατολισμού του Intercollege και της Ναυτικής Ακαδημίας Κύπρου, αναδεικνύοντας τον καθοριστικό ρόλο της ναυτικής εκπαίδευσης σε μια χώρα όπως η Κύπρος, με ισχυρή παρουσία στη διεθνή ναυτιλία.
