What an unforgettable adventure for our Year 5 students!

From 25th-29th May, a group of Year 5 students had the wonderful opportunity to take part in an Erasmus+ mobility in Heraklion, Crete. They were warmly welcomed by the students and staff of their host school and enjoyed a week filled with friendship, learning, collaboration and cultural exchange.

Together, they participated in exciting activities, explored the beautiful and historic city of Heraklion, discovered new traditions and created memories that will stay with them for years to come.

They returned to PASCAL full of stories, adventures and experiences to share with their friends and teachers - a true reminder that learning extends far beyond the classroom walls.

A heartfelt thank you to Ms Carmina and Ms Georgia for accompanying our pupils on this journey, caring for them every step of the way and being their "parents away from home."!

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming the Oceanography Centre team from the University of Cyprus, who taught us about ocean acidification and its effects on marine life. The children learned how rising levels of carbon dioxide are making our oceans more acidic, which can be harmful to marine organisms such as corals and shellfish. As part of the visit, the students took part in an interactive experiment using shells placed in different solutions (water and vinegar). They observed how the shells in vinegar gradually became weaker, helping them understand the impact that increasing acidity can have on sea life. It was an engaging and informative visit that encouraged the children to think about the importance of protecting our oceans and preserving marine ecosystems for the future.

Football Club: Teamwork, passion, determination and lots of smiles! ⚽️ A wonderful year for our Football Club, full of energy, friendships and beautiful moments on and off the field.

Our Year 6 students were excited to visit our neighbours at PASCAL Private Secondary School Lefkosia and get a glimpse of the exciting journey that awaits them next year!

They were warmly welcomed by the Languages, Science and Art departments and had the opportunity to explore, create, ask questions and experience a little taste of secondary school life.

A beautiful step forward for our future graduates, who already seem more than ready for their next adventure!
