Congratulations to Filipp Ershov (1C) for obtaining a bronze medal in the 27th Mathematics Olympiad, which was held on Sunday, 26th April 2026.

This is an excellent achievement and a testament to Filipp's hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm for mathematics. Competing in a challenging academic competition requires perseverance, problem-solving skills, and commitment, and Filipp's success is a source of pride for his class and the entire school community. As we reach the end of the 2025–2026 school year, the Tin Can Collection Competition organised by our Modern Greek & Classical Studies Department has officially come to a close, with pupils at PASCAL Private Secondary School Lefkosia and ΠΑΣΚΑΛ Ιδιωτική Ελληνική Σχολή Λευκωσία collecting an impressive 40 kg of aluminium cans for recycling throughout the year! 👏🥫💚

The cans were donated to Cans for Kids, an organisation that recycles aluminium cans to help provide essential medical equipment for pediatric hospital departments and clinics.

Pupils were recognised for their efforts with house points and certificates, celebrating their positive contribution to both the environment and society. 🌍✨

Students from Years 1–3 explored endangered and endemic species in Cyprus and worldwide, presenting their work through creative posters. The day was filled with learning, fun, and wildlife-themed face painting! 🎨🐾

Together, we raise awareness and take action for our planet. 💚

Her award-winning artwork, created during her studies at PASCAL under the guidance and support of our Art Teacher Ms. Ioanna Kanari, has earned two Gold Awards and one Silver Award in international youth art competitions. She has also received an invitation to be exhibited at the Carrousel du Louvre exhibition hall in Paris!

We are delighted to see Liu Muke's creativity and artistic talent being recognised on the international stage and wish her every success with her future university applications and artistic journey."

Yet another of our Year 2 students has excelled in the annual Kangourou Competition!! Many congratulations to Andriana-Leda Philippou, who attained TWO Bronze awards in Greek and English! We are very proud of her and wish her many more similar successes in the future!

We are incredibly proud of our Year 2 & 3 student-athletes and our Year 5 IB students who volunteered at the Special Olympics Cyprus event! 💙🏅

Our pupil-athletes took part in this meaningful experience as part of our Athletic Section Programme, while for our IB students, the event contributed towards their CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) experiences. Throughout the day, our students demonstrated kindness, enthusiasm, teamwork, and compassion as they supported and encouraged the athletes and helped create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all.

Experiences like these highlight the importance of service, inclusion, and community engagement, while helping our students grow into caring and responsible global citizens.
