F:- "Go and do your International Passport."
Me:- "Why? I've not seen a University yet, talk more of the money to sponsor myself."
F:- Just go and do it, you don't know what will happen tomorrow.
Me:- What will happen without me having the money? Abegii, leave me jorrr.
F:- Just do it. Promise me you'll do it.
Me:- Hmmmm. OK, at least I have the money for that, I will.
That was the back and forth I had with a friend that first week of January 2019. I didn't know why I needed to get my International Passport.
I didn't have the money to pursue my dream of studying abroad yet. But she pushed and I moved.
2 weeks later, I had the Passport in my hand and I remember what I told my Mum and siblings. "I have an International Passport now. I don't know why I did it but I have Faith and I implore you guys to pray for me".
I prayed for myself too and to the Glory of God, I didn't spend the rest of that year in Nigeria.

The thing with faith is that when you move, the world moves with you. Don't just wait for the World to move before you move.
In Igbo, there's an adage that goes, " When a Man believes, his God will stamp it".
English men call it the *Law of Attraction*.
The most important documents you'd need to pursue your dream of studying abroad are your WAEC or NECO Certificate, your International Passport(Bachelor's) and Transcripts(Master students).
These are documents you can't get in a day unlike Birth Certificate, WAEC or NECO scratch Cards.
You don't need to wait until you want to leave to get these documents ready.
"I'm not sure the money will come". No problem, get the documents down.
"Nobody wants to help me". - still get the documents down.
I wasn't sure it was going to be possible until I saw my name on that Admission letter.
And guess what, even though the money was not available, with that letter, I moved.
It might sound far-fetched, but in 1 month after that WhatsApp chat with the School's Representative, I was abroad.
The next week, I started school.
It can happen for you too.
Take a step today.
P.S: Disregard my tired face. It was a long flight tbh.
