First up is Kevin Patel, 19, from the US. Kevin was trained at our 2018 Los Angeles training!
“Climate change is a fact of life that people in cities around the world have to live with every day. It is a grave threat to our health, our environment, and our safety — and it shouldn’t be debatable or negotiable. So it’s important that during International Youth Day, we not only uplift young people who are doing this important work of making a difference but we ourselves start taking the necessary steps to change the world and support youth making the difference.”

“You cannot love and care about something you don't know. Spend more time with nature to realize how precious it is for us to take good care of it now. The world might have come to a halt because of this pandemic, but environmental degradation hasn't. Let's keep bringing awareness, increase our carbon sinks (protect our forests and plant more native trees) and call for a just, sustainable transition of our countries.”
