On the 29th of May, the Lacanian Psychoanalyst Marinos Maliali will be presenting the seminar with the title From Logic to Phenomenology.

With Hegel and Lacan as his companions in this journey, Marinos Maliali will be questioning the nature of Being (Geist) by going beyond the limits of knowledge. It is in the beyond the limits imposed that subjects become the authors of their own life.

On Wednesday 22nd of May 2024, the Lacanian Psychoanalyst Petros Patounas, will be presenting the seminar with the title “Méconnaissance and its relation to desire”.

Méconnaissance, is when the Subject ‘misrecognize’ its desire with the Other’s jouissance. When one walks in the path which is not in line with his/her own truth, the body feels heavy, it suffers, but for some reason we think that this is how it should be. No, it’s not, this is a misunderstanding. Wherever επιθυμία is, reconnaissance is, or even better a ‘faire connaissance’ [a ‘get to know’, meet, a ‘get acquainted with’] with this new body. It’s a new rencontre, a fresh connaissance [a fresh encounter].
