I’m thrilled to confirm that the Portsmouth University EU Scholarship has now been extended until the September 2028/29 intake (including January starts)! Below is a detailed breakdown of the updated and confirmed tuition fees:

Undergraduate (UG)
Eligibility: EU/EEA/Swiss nationals who have lived in the EU/EEA/Switzerland for 3 years.

September 2025/26: £9,535 per year (fixed for the duration of the course)

September 2026/27: £10,300 per year (fixed for the duration of the course)

September 2027/28: £10,900 per year (fixed for the duration of the course)

September 2028/29: £10,900 per year (fixed for the duration of the course)

Postgraduate Taught (PGT)
Eligibility: Nationals from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland, who have lived in the EU/EEA/Switzerland for 3 years.

September 2025/26 & January 2025/26: EU course fee (see individual course pages)

September 2026/27 & January 2026/27: £7,000 automatic discount on the International fee

September 2027/28 & January 2027/28: £6,000 automatic discount on the International fee

September 2028/29 & January 2028/29: £6,000 automatic discount on the International fee

This event involves a presentation about applying to the UK in general with a question and answer session (in greek & english) and also a presentation about Reading University with the opportunity to ask questions and meet Claire Ballard the Regional Manager Europe of Reading University and also meet other Reading applicants.

I just wanted to let you know that the Universities Minister has today announced that EU students starting courses in 2020/21 will have guaranteed home fee status. This will be for the duration of their course.

Lauren Blackwell, International Officer, at Lincoln University will be at our offices on the morning of Tuesday 5th from 10am to meet students who are going to Lincoln University in September 2016, But also for those students interested in studying at the university.

She will also be available to make clearing offers to those students who do not have a place for September 2016, because they did not achieve the required Apolyterion grade or english language level. Contact us to arrange an appointment.

PORTSMOUTH UNIVERSITY PRE-DEPARTURE 8TH JULY

Dear Students & Parents,

We will be having a pre-departure event with Jonathan Williams, International Officer, Portsmouth University at Synergy Foundation, 7 Lykavou Street, Limassol 3086 on the afternoon of 8th July at 7pm for those students going to Portsmouth University in September 2016. It is also an opportunity to meet other students going to the university. Jonathan will also be available to meet students interested in studying at the university.

TEESSIDE UNIVERSITY PRE-DEPARTURE 5TH JULY 2016
(GBP2.500 SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE)

Dear Students & Parents,

We will be having a pre-departure briefing with Heidi Cummins, Centre Manager, Teesside University at our offices in Limassol on the afternoon of 5th July at 5pm for a pre-departure briefing for those students going to Teesside in September 2016. She will also be available to meet students interested in studying at the university.

She will also be available from 4pm onwards to make clearing offers to those students who do not have a place for September 2016 and who perhaps do not have the IELTS required but have alternative qualifications such as good grades in english in the Apolyterion.

Please note that there is a GBP2.500 guaranteed scholarship for all students with a minimum 17/20 in their Apolyterion.

EU REFERENDUM - EFFECT ON EU STUDENTS

Dear parents and students,

We would like to reassure you that the uk vote to leave the EU does not have an immediate effect on the immigration status of prospective EU students. Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty foresees a 2-year negotiation process between the UK and other member states during which the terms of the UK's exit from the EU will be decided. UK universities will be engaging with the UK government during this time to try to ensure that arrangements for EU students are not affected.

Currently, we can confirm that there will be no change in the tuition fees for EU students for the academic years 2016/17 and 2017/18. EU students who are registered at the university in 2016/17 or 2017/18 either as new or continuing students will continue to be charged the current home rate for tuition fees for all subsequent years of their programme. At this stage, there is no reason to assume any change to your access to student loans if you are due to start in academic years 2016/17 and 2017/18.
