Meet Georgia Argyrou, our Theatre Teacher, who has been inspiring young performers at Diamantidou School since 2010.

From directing theatrical productions with children of all ages to bringing well-known musicals to life alongside the school’s singing and dance teachers, Georgia creates experiences where students don’t just perform — they discover themselves through theatre. ✨

She also prepares students individually for English Speech & Drama examinations, while sharing her love for theatre through drama games with primary school children in public schools.

Meet Georgia Kombou — a remarkable journey in music.

With over 40 years of artistic experience, Georgia Kombou is a pioneering female bouzouki player from Cyprus, an award-winning composer and an inspiring teacher of bouzouki & traditional instruments.

Her musical journey includes collaborations with renowned artists, recordings with FM Records Athens, original music for songs and film, and a memorable collaboration with Mikis Theodorakis.

🏆 In 2024, she was honoured as Woman Musician at the Madame Figaro Awards.

Today, she brings her experience, passion and love for traditional music into the classroom, inspiring the next generation to discover their own musical voice.

For Maria, teaching music is about much more than learning to play an instrument. It’s about inspiring students to love music and discovering everything it can bring into their lives.

Maria holds a BMus and MMus from the University of Hull, UK, and has been teaching Piano & Music Theory at Diamantidou School since 2003, using modern and personalised teaching methods.

Her approach goes beyond technique — nurturing focus, discipline, creativity, confidence, musical expression and a lifelong appreciation for music. 🎶

With extensive experience both as an educator and musician, Maria is dedicated to helping every student discover their own relationship with music. 🤍

We are delighted to welcome Michel Eskandar to the Diamantidou School of Music, Dance & Drama family. 🤍

A professional pianist and experienced piano teacher, Michel brings together performance, music education and a wide musical background, from classical piano and jazz to improvisation and music theory.

His teaching is tailored to each student, with a focus on developing strong technique, musicianship, musical understanding and confident performance — helping every student grow both as a musician and as an individual. 🎶

With lessons available in English & Arabic, Michel welcomes students of different ages and levels, creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
